After breakfast at around 9:00 am, we pack all our materials into the car, take the minibus with our local guide and drive to the village on Mount Ararat, 2200 metres above sea level. After a drive of about 50 minutes, we reach the village of Çevirme (2200 metres). After we have downloaded all our ingredients here, our private cook, who is part of our group, gives us a packed lunch and 1.5 litres of water for lunch on the way. After the porters have loaded all the materials onto the horses, we move towards the first camp. Our local guide takes small backpacks with group members and moves towards the first camp. The location of the car is about 8 kilometres between 2200 metres and the first camp, 3300 metres. It takes about 5 hours. We stop about three times on the way. When the group arrives at the camp, our cook prepares tea, hot water, coffee and snacks. After listening to our group in the kitchen, we set up a tent together. This way everyone can take a photo and everyone can rest in the kitchen tent and drink tea or coffee. In the evening, after our cook has prepared local dishes, meals are taken at 6 or 6:30. After the meal, you can have tea or coffee in the kitchen and you can take pictures of the stars outside at night.

After breakfast on the morning of the second day, everyone packs up their tents at around 9am and takes their suitcases and all materials except for the small rucksack to the hammers. There, the leader loads the materials onto the horses and drives to the second camp. Our cook gives everyone a packed lunch and water. Our local guide takes the group to the second camp at 4200 metres. After a 3-hour drive, we arrive at the second camp and set up the tents together on arrival. Our cook also prepares snacks and tea. After we have prepared our small tents and eaten in the kitchen tent, those who want to take photos outside rest in their own tent. After dinner at 5 or 5.30 pm, our guide holds a meeting with the group. After a short explanation, everyone goes to bed in their own tent to wake up early the next day.

At 1am on the 3rd day, everyone wakes up and comes to the kitchen tent. After breakfast, everyone takes their own small bags at 2 o’clock, and also put their boots into their small bags to walk on spare coats, gloves, ice, and at 2 o’clock they set off for the summit with a professional local guide, namely 5165 metres. The journey takes about 6 hours. On the way we stop about three times. Walking slowly is very important. The slower you go, the stronger the summit. After arriving at the summit at around 8 am and waiting on the summit for a while, you can observe the summit of Alburuz in Russia with your own binoculars if the weather is very clear. They can also see the borders of Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Nakhichevan and Georgia with the naked eye from the summit of Mount Ararat.

You can also see the summit of Mount Subhan in Turkey. According to studies by experts, there are around 10 million cubic metres of snow on the summit of Mount Ararat in summer. After a short summit view, we head back down to the second camp. We land in about 3 or 4 hours. After eating and drinking at the camp, we rest in the tent for about an hour, and an hour later we bring all the materials back to the horses, take our small bags and go down to the first camp with the local guide. When we arrive at the first camp at 3,300 metres, our cook is preparing a snack. After the snack, we set up the tents together and everyone sleeps in their own tent because the group is tired. After dinner at 7 o’clock, he takes sunset photos of Mount Ararat, singing, dancing and playing Kurdish and Turkish songs with the locals in the kitchen. We go to bed at 10 or 11 o’clock at night.

After breakfast at 8am on day 4, we return all the equipment to the horses and porters. With the guide we descend to the place where the car is parked, which is 2200 metres. After stowing our equipment back in the car, we get into the car. We drive to the hotel in Doğubeyazıt and after a bath in the hotel we go on another Doğubeyazıt culture tour by minibus. We visit a hill similar to Doğubeyazıt İshakpasha Castle and Noah’s Ark and stay at the hotel in the evening.
