On the first day we pick up the group at the airport or at the border gate. After picking up the group by private car, transport or taxi, we leave for Doğubayazıt. It takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach Doğubeyazıt from Van Airport. Doğubeyazıt is a town at the foot of Mount Ararat. The distance between Doğubeyazıt and Ağrı Airport is 1 hour 45 minutes. The distance between Doğubeyazıt and Iğdır is only 50 minutes. Whichever airport our customers choose, we also show up at that airport with the car and pick up the group. We go to Doğubayazıt to the hotel, our customers stay in the hotel that night. The group can relax at the hotel if they want, or visit the bazaar centre.
After having breakfast at the hotel between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning of the second day, i.e. around 9:00, we put all our equipment in the car, take the minibus with our local guide and head for the village of Mount Ararat, at an altitude of 2200 metres. After a journey of about 50 minutes, we arrive at the village of Çevirme (2200 metres). After unloading all the ingredients here, our private cook, who is part of our group, gives us a lunch pack and 1.5 litre water for lunch on the way. After the porters have loaded all the material onto the horses, we move on to the first camp. Our local guide picks up the small backpacks with the group members and heads for the first camp. The location of the car is about 8 kilometres between 2200 metres and the first camp, at 3300 metres. It takes about five hours. We stop about three times on the way. When the group arrives at the camp, our cook prepares tea, hot water, coffee and snacks. After listening to our group in the kitchen, we set up the tent together. This way, anyone can take a photo and anyone can rest in the kitchen tent and drink tea or coffee. In the evening, after our cook has prepared the local dishes, meals are eaten at 6 or 6:30. After dinner, people can drink tea or coffee in the kitchen and can take photos of the stars at night.

Here the chief of staff loads the material onto the horses and heads for the second camp. Our cook hands everyone a packed lunch and water. Our local guide takes the group to the second camp, at 4200 metres. After a three-hour journey, we arrive at the second camp and set up tents together. In addition, our cook prepares snacks and tea. After setting up our small tents and eating in the kitchen tent, those who want to take photos outside rest in their tents. After dinner at 5 or 5:30, our guide holds a meeting with the group. After a brief statement, everyone goes to sleep in their own tent to wake up early the next day.
One can also see the summit of Mount Subhan in Turkey. According to research by experts, there are around 10 million cubic metres of snow on the summit of Mount Ararat in summer. After some summiting, we go back down to the second camp. We land after about three or four hours. When we get down to the camp, after eating and drinking at the camp, we rest in the tent for about an hour and an hour later we return all the equipment to the horses, pick up our small bags and go down to the first camp with the local guide. When we arrive at the first camp, at 3,300 metres, our cook is preparing a snack. After having a snack, we set up the tents together and everyone goes to sleep in their own tent because the group is tired. After dinner at 7, the cook takes pictures of the sunset of Mount Ararat, sings Kurdish and Turkish songs again with the locals in the kitchen, dances and plays music. We go to bed at 10 or 11 o’clock in the evening.
After breakfast at 8 a.m. on the 6th day, we give all the equipment back to the horses and porters. With the guide, we descend to the location of the car, at 2200 metres. After putting the materials back in the car, we get into the car. We drive to the hotel in Doğubeyazıt and after bathing in the hotel, we take the cultural tour of Doğubeyazıt by minibus again. We visit a hill similar to Doğubeyazıt İhsakpaşa Castle and Noah’s Ark and stay at the hotel in the evening.
On the 7th day, after breakfast at the hotel, we leave our group at the airport in a private car and say goodbye.
